Iannazzone hears the Nets tried to acquire a late first round pick to take Chris Douglas-Roberts.

Well that would be a completely pointless exercise as Denver would love to match a MLE offer

How much is Smith going to have to be offered to have the Nuggets decline to match?

I would love to have him but we all know this is just bull........more realistic options are as follows, Mickael Pietrus, Devin Brown, Matt Barnes, Quinton Ross, Roger Mason, Kareem Rush, Keyon Dooling, Chris Duhon, Jannero Pargo, Maurice Evans, Juan Dixon and Jarvis Hayes.

I say we get Pietrus and Dixon, or duhon

matt barnes, ftw.

i think we need someone who is more of a 3pt threat though.

wouldn't mind jarvis hayes one bit.

i really hope we at least try and make a solid offer that will make it difficult on denver to match. I like JR alot, and i think he could become a Star if he got the oppurtunity to start

would be nice to have smith on our squad. we'd be pretty damn solid with his help and intensity.

i really liked how roger mason played in the playoffs. duhon would be a nice fit also. pietrus i think would fit well here if he was a starter.

juan dixon would be a waste.

That is an interesting tid bit on CDR. Realizing how bad they will be for a while, they must have figured it wasn't worth it to move a future 1st for a late first (in this draft).

They need a point guard we could try and work out a sign and trade with them by throwing in Marcus Williams

Oh Really ?

They are a running team, he cant run w/o getting winded.

I think we could of convinced Isiah to take him, now....hes basically filler

He never had an attitude problem other than w/ Byron Scott who gave up on him. George Karl was an A**hole benched him even when he took smarter shots than A.I. and Melo, you take JR off the Nuggets there is no playoff race for them.

Well, J.R. ain't happening.

I'm with KC on Barnes. I'm also diggin' on Roger Mason, who'd be a real nice backup point to Devon, as long as we don't have to pay anything outrageous for him.

Pietrus is a knucklehead, and will cost too much.
