Funny, Rick Kamla on NBATV got up on his soapbox for a few minutes during the draft preview the other night, and basically his statement was: Portland, WTF? Are you kidding me?
Yep.In terms of the fact KP is on the hot seat?

or the fact that KP is a great GM who turned this franchise around and is being ran out of town for nothing!
“There are a couple things to that," Pritchard explained. "Number one is that I am committed to this organization. I love it. I owe it to Cheri Hanson and Nate McMillan and Larry Miller and everybody within our organization to do everything I can to help it.
That quote concerns me. Notice he didn't mention PA by name. Not that PA deserves KP's recognition given everything that has gone down, but part of me is still hanging on hope that KP stays (I know). KP not mentioning PA but mentioning Miller and others kind of tells me the gloves are off between the two. I understand KP would be hard pressed to kiss PA's butt at this stage, but I wish KP would as it couldn't hurt in keeping his job.
I noticed that oo while listening to the interview.. but then he mentioned him a little later by name after that. I think when talking about willingness to use resources.

What's crazy is that it seems KP is keeping his agent through all this, when it is pretty obvious to me what the problem is. There are many writers who have written that this would be a non issue now if he would just fire his agent. Why is he so loyal to this guy?

Maybe finding a new agent would be a symbol of raising the white flag with PA and the ultimate you win boss kind of gesture . . . maybe it's too late period, but I'm hoping something is done to keep a GM that understands what Ptd fans want in a team.
