New major vehicle recall by Toyota

Toyota is to recall 1.67 million vehicles worldwide.

The voluntary move is to fix three separate defects – a faulty brake master cylinder that could make stopping more difficult, and potential problems with fuel delivery systems

The Japanese carmaker said it was not aware of any crashes, injuries or deaths resulting from the defects.

Just over one million vehicles will be recalled in Japan and the rest overseas.
