Rodon, 62 pitches in 2.0 innings...and just missed giving up a 2 run HR.
 
It happens but this is Fenway. It’s never over.
 
And we have another HO ump giving strike calls like Maddox is on the mound. The robot umps can’t come fast enough. This guy is a joke

Been saying it for years..."fix the f'n strike zone".
 
And a big missed opportunity. I don’t know why any pitcher would throw anything but a breaking pitch away to Stanton who can’t hit it and swings even if it’s a foot out of the strike zone
 
Stanton just keeps waving at that outside pitch.
 
Stanton swings at the first pitch that was a foot outside....and swings at strike 3 that was also a foot outside...he's one of the worst acquisitions ever.

...strictly a 1 dimensional player. (every once in a while)
 
2 ABs in a row that Torres is 1st pitch hackin'...pops up both times.
 
I don’t ever remember seeing that happen at Fenway on the Soto homer.
