OMG. Torres, wake th F up. I send a slow runner home with no
Outs and judge up. He contributed to the yanks crappy baserunning. A million guys thrown out at home this season
 
It makes no sense in that situation to send Torres unless he’s easily scoring. If it’s not the players themselves it’s the coaching on the bases.

What really blew my mind is for some dumbass reason, as he rounded 3B, instead of putting his head and running full out, Torres decided to turn and look to see where the throw was...this is grossly counterproductive, because anyone should know that when you do that, it slows you down even more.

And we start leaving 3 on base. Between our poor baserunning and our 3rd base coach with bad sends all season don’t know how the hell this team wins! Blown opportunity as usual

I saw that... Kind of surprised GT didn't stop and take a look and see!!

A bit more hustle and he could have been safe, that split second of not looking around would have made all the difference!
 
Rodon, that's what happens when you get way ahead of the batter and then decide to start nibbling and end up needlessly wasting 10 pitches on the worst hitter Cleveland has. 1-0. bad guys.

Yankee pitchers do that too often. You either have a closing pitch or you don’t. Stop dancing all over the plate when you have the advantage.

Yup, that’s what most likely cost the hand from getting in there and a run scoring. No reason to do it.
 
That is a BS replay call on Wells...the ball was not in the back of the glove when Wells' foot made contact with the bag.
 
2-0, bad guys...the way they're hitting and playing, 2 runs may just be enough to sink the Yanx tonight.

We’re down 2-0 after 5 but the way we’re hitting it feels like a lot more than that.
 
It ridiculous that the Yankees can’t get five innings from starters all of a sudden. At some point you can’t keep murdering the bullpen.
 
I disagree with Boone removing Rodon this quickly...he broke the damn batter's bat and is still better than anyone Boone can bring in from the pen. And it's Leiter who's a RHer which means Ramirez gets to hit LHed, his much better side. It may work but I believe Rodon should be facing Ramirez who would be hitting RHed.

Imo Rodon looked pretty decent, better than I have seen him pitch all year. A 6 pitch 4th, etc etc.
