Should’ve been a game ending double play but naturally Gleyber screws it up. Why Holmes is still closing is beyond me.
 
Phillies tie it back up...O's added a lot of pitching depth...we added none.

Huge huge win despite Boone screwing up all game. Would like to see him once see what’s going on in the game and manage accordingly. Weaver had a 7 pitch 8th but instead of keeping him in has to bring in the disastrous Holmes to blow the save and almost the game. It’s gotta be time to dfa the useless DJ already! Hopefully after sitting 28 games and actually taking 4ab’s last night the stress that kept him out of tonight’s lineup will allow Stanton in there for tmo’s 12:35 start
