I'm gettin tired of that board and all the garbage one has to deal with, I was TheSurge and Toisdaman over there. This appears a more "normal" place, am I correct?

This place is the best blazer board i've ever seen...

Its all intelligent conversation, good arguements, great insight. Different than the O-Live boards...

Welcome on board, hope you enjoy it.

I've been great! Parenthood is simultaneously the biggest pain in the ass ever and the greatest joy of my life. I had to bail from O-Live because most everyone decent split the scene. Also, getting to use maxiep again is a huge bonus.

It's great to see you over here.

I rarely post on OLive anymore, but I've been there a long time. Welcome to S2. This place is cool.

i was on the olvie but the flaker party annoyed me so i came over to the other board that will not be named....then to this one.

GO PORTLAND TIMBERS FC MLS here we come!

My daughter is sweet 16 now and we've been blessed as she is a great kid (knock on wood!!). Just had one child and it's worked out really well, did you have a boy or girl, my memory is fading - just turned 53 yesterday. LOL

Oh you're from Serbia?

I'm from Kosovo.

Kako si? (razumem malo haha)

I am not my Dad was born and raised there and was a POW of the Germans in WWII. I was raised in SoCal and was not raised with any of the biases/harteds that so man Serbs or Croats were. I thank my Dad very much for that. And sorry I do not understand the language.

That's pretty cool. My grandfather fought in WWII as well, for the partizans.

We moved here in 1999, as for the hatred in the Balkans, it's getting better now with the newer generations, like for example I'm 23 and I get along pretty well with every one there.

That's very good though, and welcome again to S2. :)

Glad to hear! My dad had just started at the military academy there and when the Germans blitzkrieged they basically told them to leave and try to get home. He was caught my the Germans and after a few years in a camp with many nationalities he was sent to the heart of germany to work on a farm as they needed farm labor. No guards, they just to him if he was ever caught off the farm he would be shot on sight so he stayed there until liberated my the Americans. Worked for them for several years as an interpreter helping relocate people, then that gave him the chance to immigrate here. Good story.

Wow, lots of the "quality" gang are here! Very cool, this looks like a good place.

Hey guys. I'm a new member here but I've been reading the forum for a while. New season ticket holder in section 303!
