Well I guess nobody gives a rats ass about these games. Shall I bother to make a fucking thread for Sunday's games??? :biglaugh:

...kinda hard for me to get into the PS when my team isn't part of it.

They will get better next year. Listen Ron the Steelers aren't "my team" but the only one left that I would like to see win. I'm not like "Ricky Two Teams" lol

I don't know if your watching the game right now, but these idiots are acting like fools and the fans are too now. :smiley-195517897341

I don't think Big Ben will be back in this game. Taken to the locker room after that hit.

Looking forward to tomorrow's games.

LOL ..... Now it's Fucking pouring rain.

That hit on Brown...league ban if the NFL has balls. And then pacman hits a zebra? What a gift!

What a finish. A total "I don't want it, you can have it" game.

My sleep was interrupted by a painful knee. Besides you know I can't sleep without you there.

bow chica bow wow.....que the 70's porn music.

Burfict facing suspension for that vicious hit on Brown.

^^^He obviously broke the current rules but for me, that's part of the reason why the NFL has lost much of its appeal, because of the gradual pussification of the game.

I missed the penalty on Pac man Jones, what did he do?

Sorry but it was never part of the game to decapitate a defenseless receiver. Because if you did the other D would kill your QB. The raw violence if the game today us so much more than the past.

Hit a zebra trying to get to a steeler coach on field to tend to the injured receiver.
I repeat I didn't know there was a zebra at the game. lol Please explain, I must of missed it. :bgrin:

...sorry, but the rules have in fact changed over the years...and thus, gradually "pussified" the game.

...you've either forgotten how the game was once played or you're too young to remember. A receiver was once "fair game" and QBs were not always protected by the rules as they are today.

...try watching some old footage of Tatum, Butkus, et al.

I hear yah. QBs are more protected and so are receivers. But technically late hits were not meant to be part of the game. When you look at the old footage, its obvious that the speed of the game is faster and the athleticism of players make them more lethal.

Players getting killed or paralyzed isn't Sport, and playing by the rules is being a pussy.

...once again, yes, late and/or vicious hits were part of the game. It was a common practice to intimidate receivers/RBs/QB by trying to knock their head off and it was very much an accepted part of the game at the time. Do I really need to link some video or other info to prove this point to you?
...like I said, the game has changed for me and for the worse IMO...the rules changes are about money, period, and not so much for the well being of the players. Just like in MLB, rules are being implemented to protect the owners "investment."
...and nowadays we have FB players suing the NFL for some clinical label given to the effects of concussions, even though it's long been common knowledge that FB, hockey players, etc., have a lower life expectancy because of all the collisions they've received...they knew the dangers but took the risks and took the money and ran.
...and I never said the players of today are "pussies". You totally misconstrued my words. "Pussification" is simply a term to show my dissatisfaction of the way players are coddled nowadays as opposed to the past.

...as far as getting paralyzed or killed not really being "Sport", have you ever heard of boxing, MMA, kick boxers etc? Do you have any idea how many deaths have come from those "Sports", not to mention severe injuries? Those guys are being paid and glorified to do things withe "malice and forethought" to other people in the ring that they would normally be otherwise prosecuted and jailed for in our world.

...again, I think you've missed my point.

Burfict is not an old school type of football player....he's a thug and soon to be felon that doesn't represent football regardless of era.

...Burfict's character was never a point of contention.

...again, my whole point was about the differences in the rules of yesteryear vs today. No one, least of all me, is condoning what Burfict and Jones did.
