I signed up. I generally don't have the time/motivation for a fantasy league, but this seems quick enough.
 
don't forget to set your confidence points. Last year, we had some people miss them in week 1 and screw themselves for the whole year.

How do confidence points work? I meant to ask. The more confident you are, the more your picks are worth, positively or negatively?
 
Errrrr......"confidence pts?" Let me see if I understand this correctly. You get one pt per accurate pick, + as many confidence pts (up to 16) in addition if you get the pick correct? If you get the pick incorrect, does it subtract the confidence points you "wagered?"

Wait, it looks like you have 16 confidence pts to wager with. But you can only use 1-16 once. So if it's New Orleans vs the Rams, you'd place your 16 on that game. If it was New England and Indianapolis, you might put your 1 on that game. I see. Cool!

exactly correct. you are awarded the amount of points you have set for a game when you get it right.
 
This is a cool pick 'em format. I'm diggin' it. Going to be really tough to determine the confidence pts. 3-14 will be hard week to week I would imagine. So much parody.
 
Yeah, the confidence points are a pretty interesting addition.
 
So I pretty much cheated and picked the same choices as the experts......

I wouldn't use the "expert" picks either, but that's because I'm an expert. Or something......

I used to be really good at it back when I actually followed the league, but the Niners started sucking ass and Fox decided that the Seagulls were more important than the Niners in Portland, so the only answer was get Direct TV or go to the sports bar.... I chose neither.

9ers win the division this year. Book it!
 
But Fox is still favoring the Gulls, which means no Niners unless I drive to the sports bar :(

I go to the bar every sunday to watch every game going. It's worth it. I could sit home and watch the Hawks, but my interests in NFL range way beyond our "local" team.
 
First game is tonight, if you haven't joined, do it now. If you haven't made your picks, get them done.
