Unless the Giants Defense can pull a rabbit out of it's ass the Jets win this one easily.
 
I agree, Lillie. Giant defense needs an overhaul.
Jerry Reese keeps doing patchwork for the last three
years. His time should be up as Giant GM.
 
^^^ A very crucial game for your Raiders Ron, losing 3 out of there last 4 & only pulling out a win last week in the final minute, they need to play there asses off today against the Chiefs who are favored by 2 1/2 in Oakland. FWIW the numbers are Kansas city is a +67 in PF & PA while the Raiders are a -16. nA win today against there division rivals would put both teams at 500 with 6-6 records.

Closer to home Lillie I agree, the Giants really need to tighten things up if they want to pull this one out. FWIW The Jets are favored by 1 GO GIANTS!

field for 10.5 minutes thanks to Jet penalties on 4th down,
3 times! Now, tell me......is that stupid or what!
Really thought Giants had no chance in this game........
Jets are giving this away.

Oh, that 10.5 minute drive..... just ended in a Manning INT!
 
Giant players going down like flies.....they may not
have enough players to finish the game.

SHIT! I knew the Giants were going to regret not taking that FG when they had the chance. MORONS!!!
 
Unless Jets implode in OT, Giants will have blown another

These two teams are truly mediocre.
 
This loss is all on Coughlin for not taking that FG when he had the chance.

It woudn't of made a fucking difference, they would of found a way to lose anyway. Excuse my French my love. :evilgrin:
 
Huge win for Jets.
Giants play selection is horrible.....I like passing attacks but this team seems to forsake the run and go with the pass a little too often in certain situations. They got away with it when they chose to pass on third and two in OT (incomplete pass) and needed a fourth down pass conversion to keep the game alive.
Should've first tried to run for the 1st down when it was 3rd and 2.....they got away with it.... and they should've (imo) mixed in at least one more run play when they were "1st and 10" in Jet territory. (OT)
Their play selection costed them the game (imo) vs N.E. when they passed three times near the red zone in the final minute and change- and left two much time on the clock for Brady on the ensuing kickoff after their go ahead FG.
Clock management, play selection and a non Giants'-like defense cost this team (especially clock management) at least two games this season.

And in the final analysis, *play selection and clock management during crunch time ultimately runs through the head coach.

* includes the choice to pass up the chip shot FG att.....

Jets were 6-5 entering the game, Giants 5-6..inter city/state rivals
It was a "FG game" just as the point spread had it:
Jets -2½

But according to Lil, the Jets Should've been 8-9 point favorites....

I don't think that was one of the factors when the odds makers were installing this point spread.
Looks like the bookmakers and bettors had it correct from the beginning.

You felt "vindicated" and needed to call me a jackass after the Giants missed a FG in OT allowing the Jets to win 23-20.......I don't recall myself predicting a win or loss for either team.
The Giants' defense allowed 23 pts which is close to their average per game, they didn't "pull a rabbit out of their ass" and the Jets still won by only by 3 points.
The Giants' defense did NOT pull a rabbit out of their ass and the Jets still did NOT win "easily".

And you felt the need to call me a jackass after the Giants missed a potential game tying FG.

The point spread was Jets -2½, the Jets won by 3.
Both teams were separated by one game at kickoff.
It is what it is...what it was from the beginning.
