I say sell out our "veterans" that won't be part of our glorious future.
Playing Blake isn't "baking". We're not getting Oden or Bayless experience playing with each other. We're not seeing what Nicolas can do in more than 18 minutes (except, you know, go perfect from the field for 17 pts). We're not building an offense around Oden getting the ball more than 5 times per game.
It seems that it's one or the other...either "Bake It", where i'll accept rookie mistakes (and perhaps losses) while building for the future. Or we play to win, in which case we don't accept excuses for poor play.
And I disagree about us not being able to make noise in the playoffs. Perhaps not as currently constructed and with the injuries we have now. But there ARE trades that will be out there that will be Gasol-esque.
