He's right on schedule...and June means June....unless something unforseen pops up which usually DOESN'T happen.
Some of us Yankee folks/fans... (including GM and ownership) have taken this- and CC - into consideration before going out and signing another free agent pitcher for 150-160 mil or giving up two or three top prospects for Cole Hamel...AND assuming his salary.
The prudent move is wait and see how Nova and CC bounce back from their surgeries......in Nova's case, 85-90% (?) have been able to resume their careers without losing much at all.......
......in CC's case....he did NOT undergo any major very serious surgeries.

I do hope so, yet I would like to see the Yanx get off to a good enough start, so when Nova returns, hopefully in good form, then the Yanx could pull away, I hope....!

I don't know if the knee he had surgery on is the one he pushes off on but aside from that he career has been a lot less then stellar the last few seasons. I hoping he surprises everyone.

Nope, not necessarily a "turning point"... but he HAS already demonstrated and shown the kind of stuff which can dominate and he's just turned 28 yrs old, so,
when Nova is pitching again....ask yourself - how many other teams would very much like to have him as their #4-5 starter? How about......TORONTO?.....Baltimore?.............any more suggestions? lol.....
