Mark Ellis signing with Cardinals. Yanks better make a trade for a 2nd baseman or we are looking at Kelly Johnson or Nunez and the other at 3rd if the season started today. Thank god the season does not start today they have some serious work still to do.

I tend to think that they have to have a contingency plan based on the what ifs of Arod's money. We will see shortly.

I really think that they are waiting to see the Arod decision. I have always said that the process has been unfair to the Yankees, they lose a competitive advantage by not knowing the outcome. And even with a negative outcome, (Suspension is shorten), the Yankees cannot really want Arod back in that clubhouse could they?
