...always been a pc user...and never used an apple product before but bought a used 7 year old macbook pro for less than $200. Only had it for 2 days and I'm hooked.
...took awhile to learn the simple differences (there's a video on youtube than can teach you anything) and after installing the Chrome browser I was off and running.
...a few minutes ago I used my Dell e6400 again and I had to reprogram my brain to used it again...it felt strangely foreign already. And the mouse gestures no longer felt right and this is after using a pc for 16 years and only being away from it for 2 days...strange how the mind works.
...like I said, this thing is 7 years old and I'm still learning it but the difference in build quality, simplicity, and performance is really surprising. If this old one runs this well, I cannot fathom what a new one must be like. I'm gonna play with this one awhile then decide whether to invest in a new or newer one or simply add an SSD and some extra RAM to this one.
