Hopefully Oden can bring this on a consistent basis.

As a matter of fact, there was nothing gentle about Oden on Sunday. With a voice that was as loud, forceful and stern as ever before, and with animated body language that has rarely, if ever, been seen from him in a Blazers uniform, Oden on Sunday barked, ordered and inspired his teammates.

As Roy was substituted out of the game and found his seat on the bench, he said he turned to Oden and delivered his own stern message.

"I told him, 'Greg, if you play like that every night, there ain't nobody who can (mess) with us,'" Roy said.

Oden gave a one-word response: "Gotcha."

If Quick wrote an article about nuclear physics, he'd make Brandon Roy the centerpiece.

and he wouldn't know the difference between plutonium and Pluto, Mickey's Dog.

I know we've annointed Roy the leader of this team, but at some point in time, we need to be ruled by a Troika--Roy, Aldridge and Oden. I say we let Roy be the boss on offense, and let Greg rule the roost on defense. Aldridge will have to have a voice in the cracks, because he's too talented not to have a voice.

I think Greg has worried too much about fitting in and hasn't asserted himself enough. Check him out at TOSU; there was no question who ran that team, and it wasn't Conley.

The day before, Roy was pissed that players weren't giving a full effort . . . wonder if Oden was one of the players he was refering to.

Brandon Roy's nickname at school was Hideki Yukawa - so it only makes sense.
