There goes his defense killing us year after year.

Youch! This could really hurt Stanford! They are already losing a ton of kids to graduation and this could really turn them into a 3-4 loss team next year.

they were a 3 loss team this year. Their personnel losses alone are significant, this takes them down another notch towards the middle of the Pac

Haha! Stanford loses six regular season games since the 2010 season and is reigning Pac12 Champ X2 and suddenly they will be middle of the Pac? Anyone saying they are destined for middle of the Pac has no clue about their recruiting strength, their financial backing, their facilities, the standard of athletes they bring in and Shaw's coaching and rebuilding abilities.

They are a deep team who are graduating key players...like most teams. They have experience at many of those positions. Their recruiting classes from 2009-2012 were healthy.

In 2014, Oregon will once again be battling/chasing Stanford for Northern dominance. When Oregon and Stanford played this year, Stanford was down a few key players and how did that work out?

The comments about how far Stanford will drop remind me of Doog and Sleezer fan comments after Chip, Kiko, Clay, Barner and others left. The sky fell, yes?

We should harass Stanford on twitter until they quit football altogether.

Wait. What? That works? Have you heard that?

I'm in.

Strawman? Nothing more strawman than claiming strawman, really.

Stanford will again be one of the top teams competing for a Pac12 Championship in 2014. You say middle of the pac. We'll see next year!

then your reading comprehension sucks (or you're really stretching for something to mock). I said they've had significant losses that will move them towards the middle of the Pac, not how far. I do think their personnel loses are greater then Oregon's, but like Stanford, I think the Ducks D takes a step back. Skov was an especially dominant talent

Stanford is losing their star LB, RB, a handful of D players and a few All Americans on the O line.... They're going to feel it. Their O line was impressive and no matter how great their recruiting is it'll take them two years to get the continuity this current line had. Further they lost their D coordinator. Now I agree Stanford recruits VERY WELL for their system and their coach ROCKS, but next year may be tougher than many expect for them.
