Think he will eventually end up working for the Celts?Gordon Hayward just announced on IG that he is retiring.

injuries really took a toll on him but this is still surprising
Yeah. He has only played in 25 & 26 games the past 2 seasons.
Career earnings of about $270 million and only 34 years old. Lucky dude!
He actually played 51 last season. Those numbers you gave were the splits from being on two different teams.
Houston can have him for Reed Sheppard. Or I guess I'd settle for Amen Thompson.Sacto and Houston interested in Timelord. What's he worth?

I agree. I thought he was being genuine and he was at least honest in the way he was expressing his view. They were listening.I thought that was actually really well said. He at least takes the personal responsibility, or acknowledgement in knowing he does it,, and calls himself out. I think that's a really good way of teaching, showing that you've also made the mistakes, versus someone that acts like they never have and is all holier than thou. Although I can see how some might view it as a do as I say, not as I do.
He's a recovering cry baby.....Oh sweet irony

Would we consider trading Scoot for two of the Lakers unprotected picks?Going to the Lakers! I jest…

Then can trade Grant elsewhere for value.
Doesn't make sense now.... But if the Lakers struggle it's possible they try and trade away LBJ/Davis too and rebuild.
If he doesn't sign an extension, he can still be traded. But his new team cannot extend him at the max, so they'd be trading for an UFAIt looks like Lauri is not signing his extension and is therefore unable to be traded. A Grant trade is now more likely.

thanks for clarifying. To be clear, he will be signing the extension. He just won't do it until after August 6th, which means that he can't be traded until six months following, which, of course, is after the trade deadline. Therefore, he will be off the market until next offseason.
Equally important to the Blazers is that it probably adds a few extra wins to the Jazz win total this season.
