Good to see some new teams in the finals (even if I would appreciate to other teams in the finals) but crazy playoffs. So many injuries.

this is depressing. we got lapped by the freaking suns
They drafted better than us. They made better trades. They made better free aren’t signings. Their coach was better.

In short…. Their front office is much better than ours. They have done a great job of building around Booker.

It’s really not hard at all to understand.

Booker allowed them to tank, Dame never did, nor did Paul Allen or Olshey. I've said for years that it's incredibly hard to build an elite team without multiple stars and the easiest (but hardest to hit on consistently) method is through the draft. The Sixers being the ultimate example of this. Now when you get the incredibly rare chance to trade for a star such as Paul George, or Ben Simmons...you take it. Just as the Suns pulled the trigger on the Paul deal after tanking and getting Ayton and Bridges.

My bet is the Suns will win it all.
The sweep of Denver did them a bunch of good. Gave them time to heal and got Paul through the Covid issue only losing him for a couple games. Remember he also had a shoulder injury that he was working through from the Lakers series.
Booker breaks his nose and played through it but you can tell it had it's effect. Now they get to heal again while the Hawks and Bucks tear each other apart. Very least they play 2 more games. If that series goes 7 the Suns get a full week off.

Yeah there were a couple years where the Blazers had no business making the playoffs in the last 5-6 years. They could have used a couple lotto picks.

Patrick Beverly showed what everyone else always knew. He’s a fucking scrub

Crazy part is I have watched that video no less than 20 times and I still can’t see what Paul did to elicit that response? At most he said one word while passing him? Did he say “Punk”? Not sure? I also don’t understand why the 3rd string center (Don’t know his name) didn’t just freaking level Beverly when it happened? He just looked at him? If I was end of bench in that situation I would have absolutely been thrown out with Beverly.

Suns lucky run continues playing all injured teams in every series

Bad take.
Suns have played through Injuries as well.
Chris Paul shoulder and COVID
Booker broken nose
Nope! Not buying that.

U telling me a healthy lakers, nuggets and or clippers team wouldn't take out the suns

Who knows? They aren't healthy.

I will say that Phoenix had the best road record in the league this year so that should count for something.

Forget Playoff P, how about Salty P?! :dunno:

Paul George says team would 'be going on' if Kawhi Leonard was healthy for Western Conference finals

Congrats to the Suns!!

Tremendous Drafting, smart trades, good development of the young players, to put them in a place to take advantage of Home Court and any obstacles other teams might have. It's part of the game.

Well done!

i mean... they had 9 lottery picks in the last 8 yrs including four top 5 picks. their drafts were a disaster actually.

#5 Alex Len
#4 Josh Jackson
#4 Dragan Bender

they got lucky. they did NOT have "tremendous" drafts.

You can guarantee that no matter what success someone or a team has, someone will throw the 'they got lucky' card at them. There is a degree of luck in almost everything. They are in the Finals. Our team, with a player that is better than anyone they have and with more players that the GM and many fans don't want to give up.....can't get by a decimated team (Denver) that the Suns swept in the next round.

I'm not going to take anything away from what they have accomplished from being last in the West just a couple of years ago to where they are now. Congrats to them and their 'lucky' fans.

you said they had "tremendous drafts." They absolutely did NOT. In fact, their GM got fired over it.
