I disagree. You are giving up a quality backup PG and a SF/PF scorer with good contracts. You don't just take back Rafer Alston.It doesn't have to be an all-star, but it does need to be an above average starter.
Spot on! Repped!The problem is you don't really know what you could get with the space until after you make the cuts. Blake and Outlaw are great backups. With the slow pace and good defense of the rockets most of our team has looked worse then they actually are. I'd love to snag an upgrade at PG/SF but I don't think you can take the risk of losing Blake/Outlaw for nothing.
I mean Raefs contract was as good as cap space from a trade perspective and we got nothing out of it.
