And I agree that not only do you have that right but honestly you should.
Keep up the good fight on all things. Yes I agree kindness will get us much further and yes there are lines that should not be crossed.
I embrace my disability and poke fun at it all the time. My way of dealing with it might not match others and yes I should respect your position.

Again no hard feelings and honesty the entire issue was all in fun.

So both Thibs and Malone are out and because of the way they went about it pretty much every other solid coach won’t even speak to them. Not to mention the money being offered is low.
Seems like they better just do their best to keep Splitter at this point.
 
Maybe Chauncey’s charges will be dropped and they can beg him to come back cause it sounds like Splitter is getting offers.

Weeding out scrupulous candidates is a great way to find a cheap coach with less sense of decorum. If you were a “move fast break things” kind of owner who is going to take on the league with your innovative new “money-ball”, you’d want to make clear to everyone that you want like-minded people.

A coach that is okay taking an interview while Splitter is still actively coaching is one who will have no qualms working in a ruthless environment where your boss is actively interviewing your replacement while you’re filling out your yearly self-review.

The leak about Malone and Thibs is also an advertisement about the new management attitudes. If they haven’t found their guy, this is as good a classified ad as you could hope to write as a management team.

Sometimes proper decorum is exactly that.
Proper.
They made a mistake imo. Class is still class.
They should have waited and then started their search.
Not that I would have wanted either Thibs or Malone.

I personally agree, but I wanted to signal I understood where Tom might think his virtues lie; to him this may not be a mistake but exactly what he wants.

Doesn’t make it right, and it doesn’t mean a consumer of his entertainment product has to accept it. I know some people here think being vocal about workers being treated unfairly is virtue signaling woke bullshit, though, so I won’t say any more than that.

I want to thank you cause I am seriously thinking of re-launching a Blazer centric fansite like I did like 15 years or so again. It's time for my hard opinions and a place where the snowflake crowd like yourself will not get butt hurt that some of us while we want a owner that is not a scum bag realize these rich people are not pure of snow either. We just want the Blazers to WIN

I am not 100% doing this but I was thinking last year but now might aim for after the draft for a re-launch but thanks for lighting a fire in me that was missing. When I did it before I did it for the wrong reasons -- wanting clicks etc but now I want to do it for an outlet to write and express myself and if only a handful read it or it blows up and a lot read it or something in between I will be fine with it. Thanks again your snowflake ways helped me see this

LOL -- I am not leaving even if some posters annoy the heck out of me life would be boring AF if everyone agreed with everything all the time. Truth is I have been thinking of reviving my fan site for awhile now but various things got in the way plus with a new era upon us -- seems like the right time.

I never said I followed Tom blindly I see flaws in him even now but until I see some real moves all I can be is be aware of the rumors and hope in the end it all works out. I am willing to give Tom prolly 2 years before I totally judge him but his start is rocky atm for sure.

Two things

1. I think we trade into draft doubt lottery more like trade with OKC to get their pick. Maybe trade our Orlando pick with them
2. I don’t believe Dundon will go cheap on coach, think way to much has been made of it. He’ll pay for the coach he wants, he likes winning to much to settle
 
Speaking of cats on a Blazers forum, I just had this Bobcat passing my window - and Brandon Roy was looking at it.

Brandon Roy is there, BTW, because during the Great-tailed Grackle mating season - these idiots see their reflection in the window and will tap it as they think the reflection is another bird they have to chase away from their territory - this drove me nuts - and apparently, having bobble heads against the window scare them - so Brandon is manning one window and Channing Frye is guarding another.

Probably the only time Channing Frye and guarding was said in the same sentence.

Until real news happens I am just done

You all act surprised when I am salty and then try and call me out ( in terms of being surprised I get salty ) and such when I really have not said anything wrong. I gave my opinion on others opinions that I do not agree with and sure I use names but I try to keep the names PG and keep it within acceptable limits. Maybe snowflake is not even the right word I should have used I really am not sure. I only used that word cause it seems like some are so hurt that Tom is not a white hat and prolly not a Black hat ( bad guy ) but more of a grey hat someone who bends the law to get what he needs to get done. I am not saying it's right but that is rich people they ALL do it and I will say this again.

You all ( Tom haters whatever ) will not give a FUCK what he did to make his money if the Blazers start winning -- this is the truth and if you tell me it's not then your either your lying to yourself and/or being ingenuine -- period

I wish you all the best and maybe since I am so blunt you can only take so much before you need a break from me so consider this a break.
