My son is fine...if he'd been hurt, I would have led with that detail....he has a cut on his hand from where he jerked the wire at the moment of conduction, but its very minor

the reason he was in his room to begin with was because he dropped(or threw, Ive got conflicting reports) his bagel on the ground....the 2 year old ran over and jumped on it as she exclaimed, "TA-DA!", her new favorite phrase....his reaction to her performance was a roundhouse to her head....so off to his room he goes, and might of even stuck the wire in to get attention, which he did get, the attention of the power company

How old is your son?

Glad he's ok as well.

I had a good day, on the contrary

I got my braces off!

Just before reading this I had to break up Danny (2 years and 2 months) and Mikey (9 months) from a "Who gets to eat the ethernet cable" fight. They both lost.

You have no idea how much 5 minutes of alone time means to a Dad. Hell, I try to put myself in timeout all the time, but wife keeps sending the kids to find me.

What's up Beef? Hopefully things improved for you as the week wore on. It's been a long time since I had to worry about one of my kids doing something like that. Of course they've graduated to bigger and scarier things now.
