Wow, that was interesting to google that. So that raid happened last August, almost a year ago, and the person arrested was only charged for an immigration violation and was released on a $5000 bond. Seems kinda low for a child sex trafficker.

Yes, I listened to and watched the video that you posted. I'm not disagreeing with you about the protesters. I clearly called them stupid. But it is also a little disconcerting that while the cops are doing victory laps about stopping sex trafficking the charges turn out to be a low bond immigration violation against one person. I'm completely against sex trafficking but either this case was not that or they did not do enough investigation to make a prosecutable case. In either case this is a problem.

Well, we do not need to guess about a number of things. A couple are;
California's jails are too full to jail everyone that deserves it.
They don't deport many illegals from the sanctuary areas of California.
Perhaps that has a bearing on the resources you put into some investigations.
