..can somebody please tell me which of these players are expected to be back and ready to contribute by the end of this season (playoffs)..and, if so, when they're expected back:

Oden

Batum

Outlaw

Rudy

Thanks in advance.

All but Oden are expected back this year. I believe in this order: Fernandez, Batum, Outlaw. Rudy I believe should be back by mid-January, Batum by some time in February perhaps and Outlaw in Feb-March. Anyone have better info than that?

oden - dont hold your breath

rudy - anywhere from mid to late jan (at best) (worse id say all star break)

batum - right after all star

pryz - hope he plays next year

outlaw - MAYBE.... late March... i doubt he plays till April if we are lucky.

roy - mri tomorrow. who knows.

Yeah what PD said. Timetable last I heard

Pendergraph (Back now Obviously)
Mills 1st of year
Rudy 2nd or 3rd week of January
Batum and Outlaw some time after All Star Break (Hopefully by March)
Greg will be ready for camp
Joel (no idea)

Are you selectively a dipass or always a dipass? Why would you take the DOctors word on Rudy, Batum, Outlaw and disregard it on Greg? Ohh yeah that's right you are the biggest trolling tool anywhere on any sight. Do you enjoy the smell of your Colon or do you just need a warmer hat?

I'm not sure that there is any better info. I think you're correct in order they should be back.

Outlaw had his surgery mid November and was expected out 3-5 months. So best case scenario mid February?

Fernandez had his early December and initial repoerts said 4-6 weeks. So mid January perhaps?

And Batum was also a mid February, but I can't find any info on his procedure. He had it before the start of the regular season, so February may very well be the case.

Just hoping we can limp into the All-Star break around .500 and regroup with a healthier bunch of guys!

all star break around 500.... and then get healthy..... sounds great but um... we still have no center

This is just my opinion, but I don't think you see Travis or Nic back this year. Maybe if we were at the top or battling for home court advantage.

His post game with Mike B, in the TV broadcast he said something to this affect "I tweaked it a little, but I should be back tomorrow (SA) and I will put some ice on it."
It doesn't sound like he was going to have an MRI done.

What he said.

(and you can't yell at me - he said it first!) :devilwink:

Nic just said in an interview with some French paper that he was targeting the all star break as his return to practice:

“I’m on time, even better. If it continues like this, I will resume in February, just after the All-Star Game. It lets me thirty games,” Batum said. Even if he knows that the Blazers would now be reticent to let him play for the French national team, he hopes to be with the team in the 2010 for the World Championship.
