Exactly. Anyone who can give LMA 12-14 good minutes off every night is more than welcome in my book.

Earlier I mentioned in a post that "The cavalry wasn't coming this year" meaning nobody would save us from our injuries if we just played hard like we did last year waiting for Roy and Camby. But Crash is indeed that cavalry.

He's an aggressive player, a good defender. He has that game changing skill off the ball that can energize our guys. If they see him as an example, maybe they'll up their own aggressiveness.

I believe this will benefit Batum in a good way even with reduced playing time. He has never really played with an experienced SF to draw experience from. He could also learn a ton about getting his body to the point where he can take physical contact, and not playing so soft on the offensive end. Remember those plays in the LA game where Ron Artest threw Batum around like a rag doll? That won't happen with Wallace.
