Oregon has a higher-than-average rate of adults with a high school education, as well as the 12th-lowest violent crime rate in the country. But the state otherwise performs quite poorly. Wow, I thought the first part of that paragraph was the bad part, but the writer felt that this was a plus. The seconed half is a train wreck. Also bear in mind that these are from 2009 and 10, the forclosure rate had been stalled, as of right now Florida and Oregon have the highest rate, and once the get really cooking it will be worse, seems that those in charge have "lost" information on who ownes what and who owes who..silly agengy

Oregon's rate is about half that of the leading states, and has never been as high as 2nd place.

Oregon did not experience a stall in foreclosures as a few states who rely on foreclosure through the court system did.

The only "in charge" that "lost" information about ownership are the supposed lenders (mostly the biggest banks), not any agency, and so far has continually been found to be deliberate and fraudulent.

BTW, Banks sat on a lot of foreclosures over the summer in a failed attempt to stop prices from falling. They failed and now they are releasing onto the market a wealth of super deals on some very nice homes.
