Aren't we all?Potential new owner....
She's backed by Phil Knight which makes me highly suspicious from the get go.
Here's some useless trivia - I once helped do a design of Sandy's new (at the time) city hall a shade over 30 years ago. You may now resume your regular viewing with the added caveat that you not throw up all over your keyboard.Should probably toss in the sites for some of the other main candidates:
Christine Drazan (Republican house party leader) https://www.christinefororegon.com/
Tina Kotek (Democrat, speaker of the house) https://www.tinafororegon.com/
Bridget Barton (Republican, 30 year legislator) https://www.bridgetbartonfororegon.com/about/
Tobias Reed (Democrat, State Treasurer) https://www.tobiasread.com/
Stan Pulliam (Republican, Mayor of Sandy) https://www.stanpulliam.org/home
Then of course, there's also the journalist Nicholas Kristof, who doesn't have a website, and isn't apparently eligible to run, but he probably deserves mention in this thread.
Phils a good guy.....not perfect like the rest of us, but does do a lot of good too. I met him a few times at the Pink Bucket in SE when he was starting up and had his office next door. She's backed by Phil Knight which makes me highly suspicious from the get go.
I remember when he interfered in Beaverton politics in a bad way. I think he also supported anther bad candidate for Oregon governor in the past.Phils a good guy.....not perfect like the rest of us, but does do a lot of good too. He's generally supported Republicans, so I imagine you think all the candidates he's supported are bad.I remember when he interfered in Beaverton politics in a bad way. I think he also supported anther bad candidate for Oregon governor in the past.
This gal he's supporting now is an old democrat turned independent.I remember when he interfered in Beaverton politics in a bad way. I think he also supported anther bad candidate for Oregon governor in the past.
In the same way Manchin is a Democrat...This gal he's supporting now is an old democrat turned independent.
He was a strong financial supporter of Kitzhaber.I remember when he interfered in Beaverton politics in a bad way. I think he also supported anther bad candidate for Oregon governor in the past.
Old republican turned democrat and now turned independent. This gal he's supporting now is an old democrat turned independent.
Enes Freedom would disagree that Phil is a good guy.Phils a good guy.....not perfect like the rest of us, but does do a lot of good too. I met him a few times at the Pink Bucket in SE when he was starting up and had his office next door.
yeah, at least she rebukes both parties for not getting shit done. You've got to be able to compromise, give and take to get things done and have a working body. Just like a family or marriage if there is nothing but hate and strife how can it be productive. Many marriages require sacrifice and give & take to stay together it cant just be we want everything we want.In the same way Manchin is a Democrat...
pose so.Enes Freedom would disagree that Phil is a good guy.
It takes two to tango, not one.yeah, at least she rebukes both parties for not getting shit done. You've got to be able to compromise, give and take to get things done and have a working body. Im an old democrat, turned republican, turned independent.Old republican turned democrat and now turned independent.
I know for a fact the hippie generation wouldn't put up with PC & cancellations. It was mainly anti establishment and free expression.Im an old democrat, turned republican, turned independent.
Things sure do change over time.
Over the past 50 years something amazing has happened in America. The anti-establishment has become the establishment. The outsiders have become the insiders. The radicals have become the entrenched.
Except my wife doesn't give me a cush job (or insider trading knowledge) making millions of dollars to screw my kids over...yeah, at least she rebukes both parties for not getting shit done. Pretty obvious to everyone for sure. When these parties become like religious sects that think they are the bride, easy to call out.Big deal, more than half the posters here do that. It ain't hard to do.
barfo
So what a person is actually FOR is important. Calling people out isn't reason to vote for anybody.Pretty obvious to everyone for sure. When these parties become like religious sects that think they are the bride, easy to call out.
Thats fine, it's great be for something, but when they become's so dogmatic and critical of others that think differently, and unwilling to work for solutions to problems, yes, maybe it call's for some give and take, make's it tough to work and accomplish anything together. Just my opinion...Im a believer in mediation & conciliation to help bring people together and explore ideas/compromises.So what a person is actually FOR is important. Calling people out isn't reason to vote for anybody.
fFr me calling both parties at this point time for not striving to get anything done is ok.So what a person is actually FOR is important. Calling people out isn't reason to vote for anybody.
