Amazing. When I was growing up, Oregon was about mistrust of "The Man". I guess now that the hippies have grown up and become The Man, they now embrace a government telling them exactly what they should do, from cradle to grave.

Oregon is listed as tied with Hawaii for being the sixth most liberal state (fifth, if you don't count Washington, D.C., which is probably best compared with other urban areas instead of states).
