Trade Orlando Magic accidently release trade list; Harkless, Aminu

Supposedly, this was some sort of "unofficial brainstorming list", but it should be noted that both Harkless and Aminu's names were at the bottom of the list.

I very much doubt anything comes of it, and the picture was quickly deleted from the Magic's twitter feed. But not before someone saved it themselves, as you can see.

But it is interesting nonetheless. Not sure what we could get for either one of them, but it would have to be a Big.

Orlando has the 25th pick in this draft.

If we're trying to dump cap, we could probably get the 25th pick and a 2nd for Aminu. This would allow us to offer Sacremento the 20th and 25th picks in the draft to take on Turner and Leonard. I think they'd consider that.

I'm all for this train of thought:
1.) Trade assets for picks
- Dumping some Salary
2.) Attaching those picks to bad contracts
- Dumping lots of salary
3.) Drafting a rotation player to replenish depth for cheap
- Such as Ntilikina replacing Turner
4.) Using the resulting cap space to sign better assets than we originally had

Thus improving our team for now and the future, as we keep 2 draft picks and all our future picks, shed bad contracts for essentially free (picks we acquired by trading actual assets), and add a couple talented rookies to our already young core.

Doubt they'd want to do that. They'll probably draft a PG and go forward with that PG, Ross, and Fournier as their wings going forward.

I think they're looking for a "hybrid" 4 because Ross and Fournier are both 6'8. Ross, Fournier, Aminu, and Gordon would all be switchable 2-4.

Maybe that would work if we also gave the Baltimore Orioles cash to trade him to the Tampa Bay Rays (closest MLB neighbor), who would trade a player or two to the Texas Rangers, in exchange for them trading Russell Wilson to the Seattle Mariners, with the Mariners also sending cash to the Magic.

This is very very similar to what happened during the Rich Cho Meet and Greet at the Practice Facility we had years ago. Cho showing us his draft and FA boards in his office and then the sudden panic and pleading when he realized people were taking pictures.
