Not good not good at all......effing horrific.......worst of all, is he's got kids who will never have a Father again only thing worse than losing your Father, or Mother when your a young kid, is losing both of them.
Stewart's past bad boy style, and or history of confrontations isn't going to help in his defense, of what was more a fools choice to run out onto a dark track.......no doubt, his temper got the best of him, and made him pay the dearest price of all.
I can't see any reason to think Stewart acted out of Malice, bumping the car into the wall to begin with, then trying to swerve to avoid him. Like the prior car swerved. Bump and grind is Rally or Sprint, even NASCAR, just ask Dale Earnhardt if you can hear his replies.......tough as nails, had no probs with some bumps, at time its been as much a part of racing, (less Formula Cars, Taboo in Formuia, not enough a car to bump)....as much especially in old school racers. Bumps esp in Sprint, Rally is/was as much a part of passing while being as intentionally squeezed out, as intentional as a necessary bump. as much so as Checking is in Hockey......
Disclaimer: I am NO proponent of the bump.....only the bump n run....just saying in the days.....but then hell speaking of history, wooden tracks, dirt mud tracks, bumping was inevitable.
Just don't try it on a Super Bike, not even a Motocross race. that's just plain uncalled for.....
