Kevin Love will undergo hand surgery today, and now Al Jefferson is out indefinitely because of his Achilles' tendon.

I feel bad for Wolves fans who have to watch Pecho-whats-his-face and Gomes try and fill in.

The Wolves are going to be bad this season, very bad.

Hey look on the bright side.. they will have the chance to draft another Highly touted PG in John Wall! But yes I do feel bad for Jefferson, Injuries suck.

Ouch. Sucks for the T'wolves. Good thing they drafted all those PGs.

That's terrible news for Jefferson. If that Achilles' blows, his game will never be the same. Now I guess they just have to see how rest allows it to recover.

Got to love the fact we play them 3 times in November.

Was thinking the same thing. I like being able to face them without him and Love, potentially. Take 'em where you can get 'em. I know we wouold beat them anyways, but that's fine.

That's terrible for him and terrible for me! I have him on one of my fantasy leagues :(

Jefferson is the type of player that wouldn't have his game affected unless it was a nagging injury. Jefferson uses his body and power to score instead of using crazy athleticism a lot of players have.

Ryan Hollins & Brian Cardinal are hot pick-ups in fantasy hoops

For what exactly? The rights to Rubio and some expiring contracts like Cardinal and Wilkins? Maybe, but it definitely makes us worse this year.

I am not sure loosing Outlaw for nothing would make us worse, but losing Joel for nothing would. But we are going to lose Joel for nothing at the end of the year anyways, so might as well try to get some value!

I am certain they would be more then interested.

Too bad they don't have a single guy worth trading for.

They do have draft picks and expiring contracts. But like BalancedMan said, we would be worse this year. Which is something I am not sure we want to do.

As I understand it, a torn achilles is something that guys can come back from and be good as new. The recovery takes a whole year, and of course during that year much of the players other musculature deflates... so it's a significant setback but it can be done. I hope this isn't the case for Big Al.

Damn, I know they are iin our division and all, but I can't help but feel sorry for the Timberpups. First Love breaks his hand, and now they lose big Al. In about a week's time, they went from having a promising young front court to having nothing up front.

Sucks for them. Look for Oden to have some big games against them. Hell, look for Hasheem Thabeet, Kwame Brown and Darko Milicic to have some big games against them.

BNM

Come on now. Thabeet wouldn't have a big game being covered by me.

If you read the article, he's only out for preseason more than likely because his achillies tendon has been sore....not blown out.

We don't read articles. Just headlines and then we make up our own reality.

Their bigs are going down, fast. I wonder if they'd be willing to give us Flynn for Juwan Howard?

Hell, the way Outlaw's been playing, maybe we can ship him off, too.

They have signed Nathan Jawai to help cover.

Here he is next to Patty Mills.
