Wow. The article was a tad lurid with references to crime syndicate. It's hard for me to see Paul Allen as Vito Corleone. While smuggling giraffe bones sounds almost laughable it really is not. These countries get a major share of their revenue from safari tourism and tourists making off with unauthorized souvenirs is no joke. As usual, jlprk is beneath contempt. Rape and harassment are in no way progressive, nor are they funny, and true progressives, hell, any decent human being regardless of politics, recognizes no one has a right to put their hands on another person without consent. There is some confusion that sexual harassment results from sex frustration. Wrong, it is a desire to control and dominate, to degrade and humiliate another person. Harassers (and rapists) may have abundant sources of legitimate sexual satisfaction and most people with no sexual resources don't assault and abuse. It's the head, not the genitals. And it can be harder for men to report than women; it's no picnic for a woman but a man often is characterized as "un-manned" - can't a big tough guy like you handle advances from a woman? That sort of crap.

I can't comment on specifics since I don't know the facts. But I think of how it's said athletes are entitled; from an early age people apolgize for them and clean up their messes so they never have to take responsibility. But athletes have peers, teammates and coaches, who demand some accountability. It looks more and more like these two have no peers and just live in a bubble of entitlement. No spouses, no close friends, no one to criticize or question. Everyone around them is a dependent or sycophant.

I also think that in any trial a jury would be far more sympathetic to SEALS than to billionaires.

Crandc injects the word "rape" into 90% of her posts. After reading her post above I thought, I must have missed something about rape. So I re-read the article, and here is every reference it made to sex.

...vague claims that...Jody Allen sexually harassed security officers...the security officers accused Jody Allen of sexually harassing members of the executive protection team.

Crandc's favorite word is nowhere to be found. One can be progressive without hating men.
