So your saying different races bring different qualities to the game?

Just curious about their parents. Do either of them have white parents?

Thank you. Thought so about Griffin. Wasn't sure about Noah. Does Noah have a black parent?

Yes, Joakim's father is Yannick Noah, a former professional tennis player, while his mother is of Swedish/French descent (blonde hair & blue eyes). Meanwhile, Blake Griffin's dad is black while his mom is a ginger woman with extremely pale skin.

Sometimes I wonder if kingspeed knows of this thing called "google" (or tact)

I grew up with an albino black guy...... Sorry, but it was freaky!

Gotcha

Is one of your parents gay? Is one of them a minority? Is that any of my business?

Go Blazers

No and I have no problem answering those questions. Also, the rules are different for public figures when it comes to whether it's someone's business.

And by the way, so many of you have discriminated against white American players on this message board. Are you curious as to whether Leonard is white?

nope. don't care either.

So many? That is not even close to true. Only mm was referring to white American born centers sucking. Then it was pretty much everyone else slamming him for that statement.

Not try Mags. I hate white players as well.

Batum, too. Black father and white mother. In my day, you had mixed parentage if your father was Catholic and your mother Protestant.

In my parents' day, you had mixed parentage if your father was from Klamath Falls and your mother from Lakeview.

Aside from all of the other idiocies about making this thread, this sorta falls into the category of "shit you should know from being a basketball fan."

How do you not know that Joakim is Yannick Noah's kid? The guy was a very famous athlete/musician in his own right, and they talked about it ad nauseum during Florida's two title runs and brought it up constantly throughout his first few years in the league. Blake Griffin's parents have also been all over the media since his days at Oklahoma. You couldn't watch a game in his two years there without seeing his parents in the crowd. Hell, the guy won the Wooden Award. I know most of you guys are almost strictly NBA fans, but how can you be so unaware of the collegiate game to never see the Wooden Award winner and lock for the #1 pick at least once before he played for the Clips?

Joakim and Yannick even both have the same gap-toothed smile -

Joakim's sister got some looks though....

BTW - To prevent another stupid thread about some shit like Faried's lesbo guardians or Noah's race, Stephen and Seth Curry are both light skinned, but they're both black. They're just some light skinned brothas from a light skinned motha... and Austin Rivers is mixed.

Nobody's disparaging the guys because of their parents.

It's not like they're half polish or something important.
