OT-Center and 2007 1st round pick will have season ending knee surgery

Wednesday, Jason Smith begins the difficult road back to the basketball court.
The Philadelphia 76ers' 7-foot backup center, a first-round pick in the 2007 draft, will have surgery in New York City to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to Smith's agent, Marc Bartelstein.
