The Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Bobcats have engaged in serious discussions on a multiplayer trade centered around point guards Jamaal Tinsley and Raymond Felton, multiple sources told ESPN.com Tuesday.
The discussions between the teams have been ongoing for weeks, though the parameters and pieces have continually changed. If the deal comes to fruition, the sources said, it would likely include Tinsley, Jeff Foster and a third player (Brandon Rush, Stephen Graham,

we need to go after felton IMO... if its not gonna take that much to get him

I've always like Jeff Foster's game. I don't know how he's been doing this year, but he's a guy that's always doing the dirty work -- rebounding, block shots, play defense, sacrificing his body on defense. If we were looking for that hard-nosed backup big man, I'd love to get him.

That's the freaking Charles Barkley article.

why in gods name would you swap felton for tinsley? am i missing something?

They move Nazr and get back Murphy who is a good player. (Bit overpaid)

You know, I've questioned just about every move Charlotte has made this season, but they seem to have worked, so whatever.

According to the story, they get back Foster, not Murphy.

Oh, then IDK. If they want to make these seemingly illogical trades, then they can go for it.

I would much rather have a Murphy Stoudt than a Foster. Fosters doesn't even have any hops in it.:tsktsk:

Larry Brown may be the worst carpetbagger coach in the history of the league, but he knows how to win and how to assemble the pieces to fit into his system.

For example: Diaw and Bell for Richardson I knew was going to be a good move; guys who pass, play good team defense (and great man-to-man defense in the case of Bell), which makes that roster more balanced, likewise trading for Vlad-Rad, gives them a nice option from the perimeter that they lacked.

It's hard to question LB when it comes to personnel moves, they guy knows talent.
