The Los Angeles Clippers have reached an agreement in principle to trade guard Quentin Richardson(notes) to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Sebastian Telfair(notes), Mark Madsen(notes) and Craig Smith(notes), leagues sources said Monday.

The trade is expected to be finalized later Monday. The Clippers had previously been in negotiations with free agent guards Ramon Sessions(notes) and Allen Iverson(notes).

I think Telfair has a "special" place in Blazer fans hearts.

This is due to the rumors of Portland not selecting CP3 because they felt they already had the point guard of the future in Telfair.

That didn't work out so good.

It should be interesting to see who on the Clippers quits on the season first between Davis and Telfair.

I am betting on Davis.
