nah, just a basketball fan. i followed damon and sheed when they were at zona and ncal then when they both ended up at the Blazers i stuck it out.

it was good, cause the blazers have had some of my fav players over the years, ie . sabonis, augmon, porter, strickland, clyde, kersey etc

I was sitting (with my Dad, Mom, brother and good friend) in the Memorial Colliseum in 1977 (I was in 10th grade!) when the Blazers won it all. We thought we were starting a string of 5 Championships back then..and one year later (when our record was an unbelievalbe 58-10, Bill Walton broke his foot). Then Bobby Gross broke his! And the "dynasty" was quickly over.


All of this "Just Bake it" campaign is not a reality. We actually BEAT the so-called Dynasty Team of Dr. J, George McGinnis, et al. And we learned all about it ourselves the very next year when Walton went down-for good (in a Blazer uniform).
