It's obvious to me that MIXIM (whom I have on ignore) is the same person as ODENISGOD and ILOVEODEN. Consider: All caps names, and they post the exact same takes, and ILOVEODEN starting posting in July, just when MIXIM left. It's obvious.

Should be against the rules, no? One Mixim is too many in my opinion (because he's a disingenuous shit-stirrer, and thus his posts cannot be taken seriously, and thus he not a poster but a time-waster), but 3? Please.

Youre crazy if you think they are the same, ODENISGOD has the writing skill of a 6th grader

For some reason I thought OIG was the same person as ILO, but Mixum was a different person. I could be wrong though

They should all be nixed if this board was interested in actual Blazer fan discourse.

I don't know if there are any rules against multiple accounts for the same person. Denny Crane should answer that.

I've never gotten the sense that MIXUM and OIG are the same, since they have very different writing skills. It's possible one person is purposely changing his/her style per account (and purposely posting in such a way as to seem too unsophisticated to be able to pull that off, as both MIXUM and OIG do).

i can tell you 150% i am not iloveoden

i have trouble typing i love oden no less using his name. and if i was i love oden i would have posted all summer *edited*

I am of the belief that there are only a dozen or so people actually posting here, and each have a dozen or more handles.

I mean, it's fairly obvious that I also post under the handles "Ed O.", "STOMP", and "e_blazer", among others.

Hi PapaG

I'm not rich enough to support 3 different handles.

Why should it matter. Technically, there can be 3 different personalities in one body easy enough. So why not 3 posters from one source?

That's what I was thinking too. ILO and OIG have a very similar rap, but MIXUM is distinct.

The rules state that we can "out" someone who has more than one account.

But what if that person(s) has been diagnosed with a multiple personality disorder? To each of his personalities they fully act and believe they are separate people. Shouldn't they each get their own account?

I've wondered about whether someone is pulling an Orson Scott Card-like trick on us by, say, posting as both KingSpeed and Shooter. :)

We don't want to hassle people for having fun using the site. If some find it fun to have more than one account, I don't see the harm. If the multiple accounts are confusing to other posters, it's worth our while to point out that the multiple accounts are one poster.

Even so, it's not entirely sure that two accounts are the same poster. Consider when two people in the same household share the same computer but use two different accounts. It looks like one poster, but it's really two. So we don't point out the multiple accounts too often.

It's pretty obvious that some guys have made new accounts and started posting under a different user name. I guess it gives them a 0 post count to start out again. If anyone wants their name changed, just PM an admin and they can make the change.

The Orson Scott Card trick would be if the actual die-hard Blazers optimist were posting as MIXUM and the die-hard pessimist were posting as KingSpeed. :)
