On a related note, I wish we had a player who was like Derek Fisher, in the sense that he sets serious screens when necessary. And I hate Derek Fisher.

I wonder if the NBA needs to look at getting thrown out with the double T's... it is clear Barnes was trying to get Kobe tossed (and probably should have been with the elbows to Barnes face) There are a lot of times the call double Ts when one guy is just standing there. I don't know how they'd do it... just pondering. Someday someone will start a scrub for the sole purpose of trying to draw double Ts.

Kobe did throw an elbow, well not throw, but put his elbow up as Barnes was coming down. However, they were going back and fourth all game long. The initial interaction, that drew the double T, was all on Barnes. I don't know how the hell Kobe got a T on it.

I like Barnes, I don't see him as a dirty player. A lot of Lakers fans are bitching about him, but they don't bitch when Fish, Kobe, Artest, and Odom get physical. Barnes did his role as a hustle, role player. I'd like him on the Lakers' as a back up any day.

I would liken it to more being pissed and motivating him, than flustering him. Kobe started doing his thing, making crazy shots. (except for the obvious last one) Maybe pissed though yeah. But he is the last player on the planet I wanna play against pissed off.
