Marc Gasol is my guess. He's one of the only NBA players that would need to force himself upon a female in order to get some.

Monday Feb 9. Memphis at home against NO.
Wednesday Feb 11. Memphis in Philly.
Sunday Feb 15. All-star game.
Tuesday Feb 17. Memphis in Utah.

Hmm...

Hmm... what?

The assault allegedly happened in Philiadelphia following the Grizzlies game. It happened to be the all-star break.

It also potentially helps zero in on who was or was not with the team at the time.

If that is your idea of a joke it is a very shitty one.

NO MAN needs to rape a woman. Ever. And it's not fucking funny.

And speculation about who might have committed a violent felony is not such a great idea, either.

I think it was more of a knock on Marc 'Neandertalentsis' Gasol than any kind of commentary about men needing to rape women. :dunno:

Methinks you lost your sense of humor somewhere over there *points*

Wrong, Chris. My sense of humor is fine, thank you. It's just that rape is not funny.

Oversensitivity is also not funny, in a much worse way. It was completely obvious that 44Thrilla was in no way encouraging or condoning rape in any way, sense, or fashion.

Jewish people make Holocaust jokes. It's their way of dealing with the insanity. You might consider it.

Damon Stoudamire is an asst. coach for Memphis. Good thing the article says "player". I like Damon.

Phili

A woman has accused a Memphis Grizzlies player of sexually assaulting her earlier this year, a source told NBC 10. The alleged incident happened in the city of Philadelphia when the Grizzlies were in town to play the Sixers.

The Grizzlies are aware there is investigation surrounding one of their players, said a team representative to NBC Philadelphia.

Edit: on second thought, this probably is in bad taste.

If the article hadn't said it was a player, I'd have guessed Pete Pranica, their play-by-play announcer. That guy is as shady as they come.

What's your problem?

His joke was that Marc Gasol was too ugly to get some.

Wowsa. I know sexual assault really isn't about sex (usually more about power, violence, etc.) But this is what he's got at home:

Kobe Bryant has a lovely wife. For athletes, politicians, rock stars, and other people who are celebrated/powerful and do these types of things, it's all about getting what they want at the moment. Purely a power and instant gratification thing.

Gotta be Mihm. He gots the moves(courtesy of Kobe).
