It's been a while, and she doesn't work for them anymore, so I figure it's safe to tell the story now. She worked in the communications department for the Blazers, which meant she spent a lot of time around the players. Apparently she and Bonzi didn't get along very well, and one day during a publicity event she made a snide comment towards him and he went after her. He had to be restrained. The next day he acted as if nothing had happened. She said this was common for him. Some days he'd be fine, others he'd be a mess. Bonzi had so much talent, but he was unstable. Sad story.

I would certainly want confirmation from someone else that saw it happen, and considering it was supposedly at a publicity event, I find it unrealistic to believe no one reported it in the media.

I never said it was in front of the media or public. I said it was at a publicity event, but if I remember correctly it was after the event or something along those lines. I really don't care if you believe me/her. It's something I was told when I covered the team. Take it as you will.
