I ordered my tickets through the UO alumni/donor early opportunity program. While I know not everybody here is a UO alum, if you know somebody who is, you can have them order up to 4 tickets for you right now. Sales to the general public start in October, but the host seats are typically the lower-level seats, while the general public seats tend to be in the upper level.

Last time, I was able to sell my extra two tickets for the 2nd-round games for $250/each, which is basically the cost for these tickets to both days of action. If you've never been to an NCAA tournament game, the first and second rounds are a blast if you're a basketball junkie. This time around, I have three friends coming into PDX for the weekend, and the wife and kids are heading to Bend for Spring Break, so I won't have any extra tickets to sell to my S2 pals. :devilwink:

I missed last year because I was at Disneyland with the family, but the closest to Portland wasn't close anyhow. If it's in Spokane, Seattle, or Portland, I've been there for the past 10 years. I can't wait until we get a regional in 3 years!

The regionals are fun. Last year I got to see UW (alma mater) and Cornell (wife getting her JD/MBA there at the time) play at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. Both teams lost, but it was still a lot of fun. The only thing that sucked was Syracuse was playing at the same time so the dome was partially empty during the first game.
