OK Rob, time to end your retirement...go build some cool planes!

Oh, and did you here the 6G fighter designs all look like the YF-23? Lol!

Thanks for the link Tom.... I appreciate the info. :smiley-beerchug:

I do know, Boeing/Lockheed has a prototype flying, (noted flying over Wichita, McConnell AFB, out of Whiteman). Seen that one, looks alot like a bigger version of Boeing's current AF UCAV.

Northrop's prototype, I've seen on the TSAR Bombing Range/Flight Corridor b/t EAFB & CLK-NWC.....still have my TSAR Clearance Intact. Tho' Groom Lake groupies, await its arrival or departure, they're not going to see it out there, White Sands.... is its primary testing site, Iother than night time EAFB Testing), with those Roswell Aliens at the stick....!!!

yes, the G6 Fighter, is relying heavily on the F-23 designs, and specs. Proof in hindsight, the F-23 was/is Superior to the already defunct outdated technology The F-22, as well as those G6's of Russia and China's 6G prototypes.

Funny eh- the old saying the moment a new technologically advanced AC is in flight, is the moment it becomes outdated tech.

With Lockheed having some serious internal issues in its X-35 & F-22 programs, (both political gifts undeserving of Lockheed), and Boeing relying heavily on B2 Tech, I don't see anything new or original in Boeing/Lockheed's version. Not even sure I'd want to work for either of those 2 companies. (I'm not fond of Union Aerospace Firms, a hindrance to any AC program, ie, Unions). But, I would jump at the opportunity to go back to work for NG. Now is the time to get on with it, ie, looking for a job, as this is the perfect time to get in with a Major Contractor, prior to awarding of contracts, (if said contractor is awarded to Co. this is when opportunities abound)...

Or-as I mentioned before, Boeing and Lockheed benefited immensely from Northrop's RCS/LOA Engineering, and suck hind tit, to NG's Stealth Engineering tech & knowledge.....The B2 & F-23 brought both Lockheed's F117A, F22, and Boeing's UCAV out of the Middle Ages...of primitive failures....

Now if Northrop wins this new LRSB, then I'd be very interested in going back to work. If only Congress would for once, let a contract, without eliminating funding for the entire lot of them, after building but a Wing or two of AC. Then, We would of just finished up all 135 of the original B2's allotted funding....! Yet, the B2's would not be as outdated say as the F22 or X-35. To this very day, RCS/LOA is being revised on the B2 spirits....as well as all O&D/Avionics/Radar Systems...! The B2 is one of the very few Stealth AC, which will see revisions til the day they ground the fleet, its that kinda' bird....!

:tiphat:

Do you recall when the 1st B2 did a low fly by over Hawthorne & downtown L.A. while the FAA, L.A.P.D, and LASD, all received a few thousand UFO sighting calls...? It's 1st ever day time air demonstration to the mass public, other than Desert Flt. Testing out here, in the boondocks of timbuktu....!

Retiring from Aerospace is alot like retiring from Baseball, as one is never comfortable sitting around and watching new tech fly, without being a part of it....not happy being an arm chair Engr', rather I'd be in the dugout right now...! Or at the drawing boards...!

:smiley-yippee:
