No one makes him an offer? What happens to him? Does he go back to the Bucks for the chump change they offered him for the qualifying offer? Wasn't it like 1 mil?

LOL! Would you do that? I think I would.
No team thinks he's worth their MLE? That says something doesn't it..
True. However, reports since them indicate that the Bucks are not going to match a MLE, making the restricted part or the tying up money (in the end of August) no longer factors to why teams haven't made him an offer. We've gone over this before. Those things could all be true. You guys do realize that he could have offers on the table but refuse to sign them because they aren't what he would consider an ideal situation. For example...would he sign somewhere to play as a backup? He might say screw it and play the year out so that he can make much more than the MLE in the unrestricted FA market. He's still limited to a maximum salary of the MLE, which is the average salary amount in the league.
So even though the Bucks say they won't match (and really? Did you guys forget about how Charlie Bell was burned when the Bucks said they wouldn't match the Heat's offer sheet and then did anyways?), it's possible Sessions didn't like any of the offers on the table. Although I'd imagine if NY did tender the full MLE, he would have gone for it to play under D'Antoni.
Sessions would be a nice understudy to Miller, but it would really depend on what it took to get him.
Bayless?
I'm honestly not completely sure what to think of Jerryd Bayless at this point. I know he has talent, but will he ever put it together? Hard to say, and I really feel this team needs a distributor to run things. Andre Miller will prove this.
so you would send Bayless for Sessions too then right?
There is no way you trade the best 2nd string SG in the league for a 3rd string PG. I don't care what your depth chart looks like. Rudy for Sessions and the Bucks unprotected 1st still probably wouldn't be enough.Well, it's a tough call. As much as I love Rudy, I'm still not sold that he will have a place on this team long term. Don't you think Rudy will want to start eventually?

That's fair. I agree with BW that Rudy can be an effective part of a 3 guard rotation that includes Roy.I'm not necessarily saying trade Rudy for Sessions, but at this point I'm still concerned about Rudy's future here.

Let's look at the facts. He is an undersized two. The last thing this team needs is another two and one that is undersized. If you focus on that fact and realistically think about how high his ceiling is as a two. Taking everything into consideration. Im not sure he will be good enough to fill a third string role for most teams. If he was ever going to make a name for himself it would have been as a point.
And as a point, he is a mess. I say move him. But not move him for a point. Move him with Outlaw in a package deal to upgrade the backup four.
Miller is currently tied for the 13th highest assist-per-game average (7.6) in NBA history. He has also played in 501 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the NBA.

I'm sorry...I'll be civil but that is a fucking joke. What is a decent backup four? Turiaf? Chris Anderson? Glen Davis? I'm confused. You're talking about trading a very highly regarded lottery pick...who hasn't had much of an opportunity due to our depth (Bayless), and a good role player...one of best reserves in the league (Outlaw) for a guy who might play 16 minutes per night?
I don't think Oden and Pryzbilla will work together. But LMA will occupy 36+ minutes per night, and Outlaw can man the backup 4 against most players in this league. Think about the backup PF. What ones can't Outlaw "defend". And furthermore, what ones can really defend him?
I think the roster is fine with the PF issue, especially given the depth at center and our prospects at PF. SF is fine between Batum/Webster/Outlaw. And PG is clearly good. So we're set for the run. I'd be surprised if we don't make at least the second round...more likely further...this year.

What kind of ceiling do you feel Jerryd has there balanced? How good do you think he will be if he is never, ever able to play the point? Ill give you a hint. Think Antonio Daniels. There is a reason why that highly regarded lottery pick dropped almost 10 full spots. He was suppossed to be a top five pick and ended up being a top 12 pick.
