What kills me are the guys who write their rants and read them on the air. I just see someone scribbling furiously late at night and then waiting on the phone all morning in the hopes Rome will say "Rack 'em". It's just not my cup of tea.

Yeah, that isn't my favorite part of the show at all. In fact, I could really go without it. But, that reallly isn't a big part of the show, at least lately.

I usually listen to the first hour of their show and I swear they read this message board for topics to discuss to fill the airwaves. This morning they broke the Chad Ford article at 7am and said it was breaking news. It actually came out the night before, I read it last night at like 9pm.

They don't bother me that much though, they are kind of appealing to me because its something that is within my age range and I can relate to a lot of the goofy shit they banter about. I just think their player evaluations show they don't watch much NBA.

Which means he still know WAY more about the NBA than the People's Chump and D.I.P. And, Mychal has a LOT of contacts with current and past NBA players, coaches, scouts, other members of the media, etc. So, he might actually be able to book a few decent guests on the show.

Agreed - this was the reason for my suggestion. Their show was great. They just seemed to have a great rapport. My wife hates sports talk radio, but she used to tolerate (and even enjoy) Mychal and Kermit.
