lol. I can't count how many times he's had a wide open 20 footer and he does his one-dribble-maneuver to get him a really contested fade away 15 footer. Lots of good players do that routine to draw contact and get to the line, but to just get closer so you can shoot a fade away in traffic is so weird.

I can never tell if he's just dumb, or he has utter contempt for the defense and figures they don't matter because he can just rise up higher than anybody else (in which case, closer is better). Probably a little of both.

*shrug* As long as he's hitting at 44% or higher (which he is now), I probably shouldn't complain.
