Looks like it's a given that he's going to sign a contract paying at least 20 mil per.

He's averaged (career)
17 HRs 73 RBI, .292 BA, .345 OBP, .464 SLG% per season.

Last three years:
14 HRs, 72 RBI, .280 BA, .335 OBP, .424 SLG%


Now comes the good part of the post lol.
I believe Arod is due to be paid approx 20 mil this season and of course I understand all the negativity that's surrounding him and he just might be washed up, but...

...but, in a weird way, I wouldn't mind seeing him putting up numbers similar to what Sandoval has over the last three seasons....lmao...

Let the writers/media who are licking their chops anticipating a train wreck have a nice little dish of horsesh!t stew to swallow.


If Arod is capable of playing - and he is in the lineup, go for it!

...^^^ I won't dispute that Sandoval will be over paid...as are most all FAs.


...but ARod's body started breaking down years ago ...and he has not faced ML pitching in nearly 2 years ...he's toast.
