Okay, so it looks like the majority of our OT readers are voting for either Obama or Romney.

Let's check another variable.

This isn't a choice, but I am voting for Romney because Obama has shown me he can't do the job. Romney might fail as well, but at least he hasn't proved he will fail.

Isn't that the 'lesser of two evils' option?

barfo

No because Romney might end up as evil or more than Obama.

Yeesh. I forgot how much this place relies on argumentative message board semantics. Okay. So the lesser of two evils option means "I don't like either of them, but I'm voting for X because I don't want the other guy even more." Or however you would word that.

I took a survey somewhere that outlined what the candidates believed and how important each position was to you. I aligned 95% with Romney and 88% with Ron Paul. I think I aligned 43% with President Obama. Hence, I'm going to vote for Romney.

Makes sense to me! I did a similar survey in 2008 and had similar high matching response for Obama. You have to vote who you think is the best fit for you!

http://www.isidewith.com/ is the one I took, I got 96% Gary Johnson, 77% Romney, 66% Obama.

Wow, 81% with Romney on foreign policy, economic, immigration, domestic policy, social, and environmental issues , then 69% for Johnson on healthcare and the economy

I wouldn't vote for a republican even if my life depended on it.

Good to know you'd never vote for Abraham Lincoln or someone with the political viewpoint of John Kennedy. Your open-mindedness and tolerance is noted, however.

You only have to go back a century for a decent Republican President.

Thanks for proving my point.

I was just being snarky. For the life of me, however, I don't know why you would eliminate an entire party. It strikes of ignorance and bigotry.

Does it? Just look at their presidents since Ike and it's been one shit storm after another.

The Republican party is bad for this country.

But we can continue to sugar coat the Bush/Bush Sr./Reagan/Nixon/etc./etc. administrations and put total blame on Obama.

I see what you mean. Mark Hatfield and Tom McCall were pricks!

And all those jobs and broad-based wealth Reagan helped create? Ending the Cold War? Ending Vietnam? Voting for Civil Rights legislation in greater percentages than Democrats? What a bunch of jerks!

so, you are for not eliminating the nazi party?

speaking of ignorance and bigotry...

If a candidate with whom I agreed most was a member of the Nazi party, I'd vote for that person. Chances are, however, if they were Nazis, I would be unlikely to agree with them. The same would go for a candidate under the Communist party flag.

Lots of swings and misses today, 3RA1N1AC. Why are you so off your game?

"if i was a nazi, id vote for the nazi party"

you didnt even answer my question, just like you have been hiding from them all day, i guess the truth hurts too bad? :dunno:

tell me all about how you think the nazi party shouldnt be eliminated maxiep
