Ha! I don't recall you taking much exception on my backing Noah's prospects, but I can recall a few others here doing so (cough cough EdO) after both his Jr and Sr years. Heck, I was in Chicago on draft day that year and saw their press collectively shit a brick on his selection, so you have a lot of company on that one. I'd called him a 6'10 Rodman so I thought if anyone would recognize his talents it would be them... wrong! We have all said stuff that was laughed at by others that proved to be correct, and most of us, myself included, has laughed at stuff others said that proved to be true. I wanted the Blazers to get Butler instead of the Wiz way back in the day, and people jumped down my throat that he was an end of the bench player. Conversely, I thought it ridiculous when people said that Noah would be a good center in the NBA.
to give my horn a toot, I can't think of a glaring example of being wrong on a prospect in my posting life where I took a stand, and I've taken more then a few. About the worst I did was keeping my fingers crossed for years that Nedzad would pan out, but I never actually got to see him play live or on the tube... it was all a dream. I finally gave up hope when Storyteller called him a complete stiff after attending a game in Las Vegas during his 3rd summer league.
