Paul Waring shot an 8-under 63 Friday to tie for the lead with fellow Englishman David Lynn and South Africa's Hennie Otto after the second round of the Portugal Masters.
Otto had a 64 and Lynn shot a 65 for a 12-under total of 130. Bernd Wiesberger and Chris Doak were one stroke behind.
