I'm not even sure if this person in the picture is him...

Could he really be this dumb?

That doesn't really look like him.

Hm, apparently Phelps got a DUI when he was 19?

That site has as much credibility as MIXUM. I actually think it has less. That looks very little like Phelps and I don't think he can grow a beard that robusk.

that's what I was thinking...

I love the deal made to the paper as well.

Spokesman Clifford Bloxham offered us an extraordinary deal not to publish our story, saying Phelps would become our columnist for three years, host events and get his sponsors to advertise with us.

In return, he asked that we kill Phelps’ bong picture.

False. Phelps loves dank. It's a fact.

If it's real, why did it take over two months to come out, and why it is on some UK website?

Just saw on the pregame show that Phelps admitted it was him in the pic.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Olympic great Michael Phelps has acknowledged "regrettable" behavior and "bad judgment" after a photo in a British newspaper showed him smoking marijuana.

In a statement released to The Associated Press, the swimmer who won a record eight gold medals at the Beijing Games conceded the authenticity of the exclusive picture published Sunday by the tabloid News of the World.

Phelps said: "I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I'm 23 years old and despite the successes I've had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again."

I don't know why he admitted it. He easily could have denied it, it barely resembles him.

Just more proof that all the official line of "Pot making you a looser" is bullshit. Some of the most successful people I know smoke pot.

Whats even crazier is it's Oregons number one cash crop, and we don't even tax it.

Last year in Humboldt county alone, our government spent 10 BILLION dollars fighting marijuana, and Humbold still had the highest year EVER in pot production. In fact, every year for the past 5 years have been a new record in Pot production there.

Thanks for wasting my money uncle sam. Why our economy is tanking, and instead of taking advantage of what could be a source of jobs and revenew, you spend 10 billion dollars fighting it.

The guy can hold his breath for like 4 minutes.

no wonder he eats so much at breakfast, lunch, and dinner lol

there are almost 1 million marijuana arrests every year in the usa.

over 50 thousand people are incarcerated for marijuana in the usa at a taxpayer expense of over 1 billion dollars per year.

cigarettes kill over 5 million people per year, and rising.

alcohol kills over 2 million people a year.

marijuana has never killed anyone in the history of the world.

I had a friend who is / was (lost touch with him) in jail for killing two other friends and putting another in a wheel chair while driving high. He admitted he shouldn't have been driving because of how much pot he smoked.

over 750,000 people die from prescription drugs every year.

driving deaths are unfortunate, but it is not the marijuanas fault.

just imagine how big of a bong hit he could take with those lungs..... damn!

so then drunken driving deaths aren't because of alcohol? i'm guessing that 2 million deaths includes some from drunk driving, i may be wrong but probably not.
